Abstract
Project Summary The project aims to develop an automated computational workflow for tracking unknown mass spectra in the National Metabolomics Data Repository (NMDR) and build a searchable library of these unknown mass spectra. Accomplishment of these tasks will allow researchers to prioritize enormous number of unknown mass spectra for subsequent costly structural elucidation of the underlying compounds. Furthermore, the informatics capabili- ties developed from this project will maximize knowledge yield from NMDR. Meanwhile, this project will help the development team of the parent grant to improve the robustness of the software tool to be developed under the parent grant.
